Seeking sunshine, calm moments, and whimsy.

I’m finding myself drawn to softness, romantic silhouettes, & iridescent materials.

Digging into specific emotions while painting has been a meaningful experience for me. I’ll hone in on ‘hope’ for example & try to un-earth how the feeling of hope would look & feel. Some of these experiments may never see the light of day because I don’t feel as though I’ve captured it; but the painting i’m sharing below is a part of that project.
