2017 | Blogging More... and Goals.

We are already just about a month and a half in, and I am still so hopeful towards this year. I wouldn't say I always "get a word" for my year. But this year I felt like I heard to Lord saying pretty clearly that this is a year for me "to be bold". While Keith felt like his was "risk". So it should be an interesting year for the McMunn family ;).

We both thrive off of risk, change, and adventure in our lives. And we become very complacent if we aren't making steps towards chasing our dreams. Goal setting has been a discipline that my creative brain struggled with initially, but I now realize how crucial it can be.

One of my favorite goals for the year has been to read 2 books a month; so 24 by the end of the year. So far I've read "The Weight of Glory" by  C.S. Lewis, "The Magnolia Story" by Chip and Joanna Gaines, "Leaf by Niggle" by J.R.R Tolkien, and "Mere Christianity" by C.S. Leis.

I am starting on "The Shack" soon, and cannot wait! I have heard the most wonderful things about this book. I would love to hear any of your book recommendations! I still need about 10 more for my list!

Another goal that I am *just* stepping towards is blogging a bit more! I joke often that I feel for my poor husband and girlfriends who have to listen to my creative excitements and inspirations. I quite literally feel like I am going to explode with ideas and dreams some days. So I thought I should probably pursue a healthier outlet ;) .

I'm hoping to feature the things that bring me joy, and make me excited to create. As well as some of the women (or men) that are currently inspiring me. I'm so passionate about wisdom, and finding ways for wisdom to get to the ears of those that need to hear it. I am absolutely crazy about some of my friends, and the wisdom they carry for creativity, social media, and just life. And I think you all will be too.

What are some of your goals for this year, and how are you putting them into action?
